You will join a delivery focused team known for executing complex projects in a fast paced, safety first environment. About Your New Role: As Civil Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of grid scale BESS projects, taking ownership of civil scope from early stage planning through to construction delivery. You will support design coordination, constructability input, and procurement planning during pre-construction, before transitioning into delivery where you will manage civil subcontractors, schedules, commercial support, and day to day project execution. This role is ideally suited to a Civil Project Engineer with direct experience on BESS or renewable energy infrastructure projects who is looking to step into end to end project delivery responsibility. Key Responsibilities Support planning and pre-construction activities including design coordination, constructability reviews, and delivery methodology development for BESS projects Manage civil subcontractors and delivery of civil packages including coordination, scheduling, and progress tracking Oversee contract administration including variations, claims, invoices, and cost control Support project scheduling, reporting, and risk management across planning and delivery phases Work closely with Project Managers and site teams to ensure safe and efficient delivery of BESS civil works About Your New Role: To succeed in this role, you will bring Civil engineering qualification with experience in infrastructure or energy projects Proven experience delivering grid scale BESS or battery energy storage projects in Australia Strong background in civil construction delivery including subcontractor and package management Experience across both pre construction planning and site based project delivery Understanding of contract administration including variations, claims, and cost tracking Strong communication skills and ability to work across engineering, commercial, and delivery teams How To Apply If this opportunity aligns with your background, click Apply Now or contact Sefa Prasad 0483 945 772 for a confidential discussion.
