Working with a team of accomplished professionals across technology and operations, this is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the technology architecture that supports both corporate and critical operational services. About Your New Role As the Domain Architect, you will provide architecture leadership and direction across the telecommunications, network and infrastructure environments spanning physical, on-premises, cloud and operational technology platforms. You will develop and maintain domain strategies, target-state architectures, roadmaps, standards and reusable patterns, while also providing architecture leadership across key technology initiatives. Other tasks include: Develop and maintain current, transition and target-state architectures and domain roadmaps. Provide architecture leadership across telecommunications, connectivity, network and broader infrastructure environments. Lead or contribute to solution architecture across relevant technology initiatives. Translate business, operational and technical requirements into practical architecture solutions. Provide architecture guidance and assurance from concept through to implementation. Support the integration and evolution of legacy and contemporary technologies. Embed cyber security, resilience, recoverability and continuity requirements into architecture decisions. Provide architecture input into business cases, sourcing strategies, procurement and vendor evaluations. Work closely with Technology, Security, Engineering, Network Operations and delivery teams. Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and modernise complex technology environments. Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to technical specialists. About You An experienced Domain Architect with broad technical exposure across telecommunications, networking and infrastructure environments. You will have a track record of developing architecture strategies and roadmaps within complex, highly available or critical environments. You will be familiar with the following: Domain architecture, target-state architecture and technology roadmaps. Telecommunications, enterprise and operational networks. Cloud and on-premises infrastructure. Carrier services, fibre and optical transport, radio/microwave, data networking and digital voice. Solution architecture and delivery assurance. Technology modernisation, lifecycle management and technical debt. Cyber security, resilience and technology risk. Business cases, vendor evaluation and technology sourcing. Working across enterprise and operational technology environments. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across technical and non-technical audiences. Previous experience working within large, complex or critical infrastructure environments. A tertiary qualification in Telecommunications, Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline is desirable, along with TOGAF or an equivalent architecture certification.
