About Your New Role

The Cloud Engineer will work as part of the IT Project Delivery team in one of the most engaging and exciting infrastructure programs in Sydney and Australia.
The role of Cloud Engineer is to enable the new greenfield business to deliver a notable industry and community transformative critical infrastructure renewable utilities project.

THE ROLE

The remit requires an enthusiastic and passionate individual that will take on new and diverse challenges within a significant startup.

This role will engage with many internal stakeholders, aligned business partners and service providers. This includes liaising with broad range of SMEs across Programme/Project Managers, Architects, Business Analysts and external professional services consultants.

ABOUT YOU
Proven experience in Critical Infrastructure and ability to work in a greenfield initiative.

Demonstrable experience in Cloud platforms across Microsoft and Azure ecosystem

Experience in AWS, GCP, IBM and OCI is highly beneficial

Cybersecurity industry and technology vendor experience

Previous experience in fast paced deadline environments

Ability to work with multiple business unit stakeholders, integrators, technology vendors and managed service providers

"Can do" attitude - someone who will be very hands on, alongside the rest of the team

Experience in designing and supporting perimeter and cloud security controls

Prior experience to notable industry standards and regulatory obligations such as
the following would be highly advantageous: ISO27001 & ISO27002; ISO31000; TOGAF / PMP; ASD Essential 8; IPART Licensing Conditions; SOCI Act and CIRMP; AESCSF V2; Australian Privacy Principles / NDB; NIST CSF; CIS Controls; Mitre Att&ck
