The Opportunity:

The Network Control Specialist is responsible for coordinating requests, planning, and preparing switching instructions to allow safe access to the company’s network. You will support the Control Room by performing System Operator duties when required and ultimately become a System Operator. This is to enable the safe operation during planned access to the network and responding to unplanned incidents.

A Bit About You:

You may:
•Be a recent Engineering graduate
•Hold an Electrical Trade Certificate
•Have experience switching a distribution or transmission network
•Understand safe work practices to enable work to occur on the distribution or transmission network
•Be interested in becoming a System Operator or Acting •System Operator noting that that would require shiftwork. The NCS position does not require shiftwork but we do want someone who wants to aspire to become an operator
•Experience with a Distribution utility is desirable but not required
