About your new job:

Working in a busy environment the role would suit a highly experienced Payroll Officer who can work in end to end a capacity.

• Managing weekly payrolls for approximately 1500 employees within a team environment
• Handling and resolving payroll queries and managing the query inbox
• Processing payroll adjustments – ad-hoc manual payments
• Setting up new starters
• Process termination payments
• Reconcile workers compensation
• Updating employee details and changes
• Month-end reporting and reconciliations
• Assist the Payroll manager with ongoing projects in relation to system/process/ procedure improvement as required.


About You:

To be successful in this position, you will ideally have exposure in the following:

• A proven track record in the area of payroll management – ideally within a full function/end-to-end capability
• Knowledge and understanding of Australian employment law and interpreting Awards & EAs
• Previous experience in high-volume payroll processing
• Exposure to large payroll and time & attendance systems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with relevant departments
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
