Job Description
The organisation is widely recognised for its precise execution and deep technical expertise, providing end-to-end engineering services that span route selection, access track design, high-voltage systems, and advanced structural solutions. These newly created positions have been established to support a rapidly expanding project portfolio, requiring proactive, hands-on design leadership with a strong emphasis on technical delivery and stakeholder engagement.
Roles:
1x Principal Electrical Engineer
1x Principal Civil/Structural Engineer
Work Location:
Adelaide, South Australia or Perth, Western Australia
Core Responsibilities and Key Requirements:
Principal Electrical Engineer:
• Own and lead transmission line electrical engineering scopes
• Design and model transmission components using PLS-CADD, including tower/pole modules
• Select conductors, OHEW, OPGW and perform earthing design
• Conduct EMF and noise modelling, insulation coordination, and lightning performance analysis
• Resolve complex technical issues with engineering managers and client-side representatives
• Mentor engineers and foster a detail-driven technical culture
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Proficient in PLS-CADD; tower/pole modelling experience required
Principal Civil/Structural Engineer:
• Lead structural modelling of transmission assets using PLS-CADD and tower/pole modules
• Apply geotechnical reporting to foundation and slope stability design
• Engineer foundations for challenging environments such as river crossings and mining subsidence areas
• Review civil/structural deliverables and engage with clients to align expectations
• Support junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement across design teams
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Skilled in steel structure and foundation design, geotech integration, and slope stability
