Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to support the operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced environment where your procurement expertise will directly contribute to the smooth running of their production processes.

About your new role:

You will be responsible for the procurement of parts and consumables vital to the manufacturing and service teams. Working closely with internal departments and external suppliers, you will manage purchasing activities, monitor inventory levels, maintain vendor data, and ensure procurement operations align with our quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source materials and services, ensuring best value, quality, and timely delivery
• Collaborate with Production and Design teams to meet material requirements
• Maintain accurate supplier data and monitor reorder points
• Ensure procurement activities meet company policies and supply chain procedures
• Track supplier performance and maintain system accuracy
• Support continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives

About You:

You’re an organised, reliable team player with excellent communication skills and a solid grasp of procurement workflows. You enjoy working collaboratively, take ownership of your tasks, and are motivated by keeping things running efficiently.

• Experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain roles, within Manufacturing or Production
• Proficiency with ERP systems (preferably MYOB, NETSTOCK)
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
• Commitment to confidentiality, compliance, and ongoing improvement
