Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to lead a major infrastructure program. This is a standout opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving business growth, ensuring project profitability, managing key client relationships, and mitigating commercial risk. The role calls for a strong blend of strategic thinking, commercial insight, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commercial Strategy Development: Identify commercial growth opportunities and risks, and develop strategies that align with broader organisational goals.
• High-Value Negotiations: Lead the negotiation of complex contractual matters, securing optimal commercial outcomes through timely and strategic resolution of claims.
• Contract Management: Advise project teams on commercial terms, pricing models, and contractual provisions to ensure sound delivery.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to support successful project outcomes.
• Leadership & Development: Inspire, lead, and develop a high-performing commercial team, promoting innovation, accountability, and adaptability.

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in law, engineering, construction, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years' experience managing large-scale infrastructure contracts.
• Proven experience in handling complex claims, including variations, time extensions, and entitlement assessments.
• Demonstrated experience working with dispute resolution boards and negotiating Deeds of Settlement and Release.
• Strong commercial negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills.
