About your new role

The Senior Data Engineer position has been created to lead the design, development and maintenance of the data integration platform. This newly created role will design and build scalable, high performance data function.

Some of the key tasks aligned to this role will include:
•Design, develop and maintain the data integration platform using Azure services.
•Develop and manage Data pipelines and workflows using Azure Data Factory and other orchestration tools.
•Contribute to the design and architecture of the data ecosystem.
•Build and manage microservices using C++, C# and Javascript.
•Architect and implement a webhook notification system.
•Collaborate across business verticals to define business data requirements.

About You!
•You have 'hands on' experience performing the above listed tasks.
•Have skills with Azure services, Azure Data Factory, Azure Event Hub & Azure API Management
•Will bring software engineering experience and have skills with C++, C# and Javascript
•You are skilled with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL and ORM frameworks).
•Have a working knowledge of containerization technologies (Kubernetes ideal).
•Interpersonally, you are a strong communicator who is passionate about data! You thrive in a team environment where you utilise your ability to solve business issues using your data expertise.
