About your new role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this hands-on role will see you responsible for accurate internal and external financial reporting, stakeholder engagement, and driving continuous improvement across the finance function. This role will be a 12 Months Fixed Term Contract.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting across all entities
• Lead group consolidations, intercompany transactions, and statutory reporting (BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax, etc.)
• Perform detailed Balance Sheet and P&L variance analysis and provide insightful commentary to senior stakeholders
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting activities, including monthly forecasting and cost centre expense outlooks
• Maintain governance over financial controls, including leading balance sheet reviews and internal audit preparation
• Act as 2IC to the Financial Controller
• Oversee the Fixed Asset Register and Capex process, ensuring compliance and accuracy
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, reporting, and compliance
• Build strong cross-functional relationships to improve financial transparency and support business decisions



About You:
You are a technically strong and commercially aware accounting professional who brings energy, curiosity, and a desire to partner with the business to drive outcomes. You will be comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and thrive in a team that values initiative and impact.
Requirements:

• CA/CPA qualified
• 5–7 years of experience in a similar financial accounting role
• Strong Excel skills and previous exposure to large ERP Systems and Power BI
• Experience working in complex, fast-paced environments (FMCG or similar industry preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with senior stakeholders in a professional and collaborative style
• Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
