About YOUR new employer:

About YOUR new job:

You will be focused on all taxes and associated regulatory/legislative requirements for the group. Specifically, the role will improve the company's performance by recommending and implementing tax strategies.

Some of the key responsibilities assigned to this role include:
•Manage tax returns, tax calculations and indirect taxes for local and offshore subsidiaries
•Be a trusted advisor to management for all tax-related matters and for minimising tax payables, as well as advising on new and proposed tax legislation, regulations, and rulings from a tax compliance perspective.
•Contribute to the bi-annual Audit and Risk Committee process to ensure all tax risks are properly documented and actions are in place to remediate.
•Proactively make process improvements to the function
•Working with teams across the business such as Payroll, HR and Marketing to streamline/improve processes to enhance data transparency and reduce tax obligations.
•Assist the Group FC with commercial projects such as M&A or other ad hoc financial analysis

About YOU!
•Ideally, you will have experience gained working in a large corporate, multinational or ASX-listed company and be looking to take the next step up in your career to Tax Manager
•Alternatively, coming from a Business Services or mid-tier chartered firm background
•Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the business
•Have a proactive nature and always be looking to make improvements
•CA/CPA
